Their friendship began September, 2010. Later on a spring afternoon, the Lord revealed to Stafford "this is your wife," and he instantly was in love. A persistent man armed with confirmation, Stafford pursued...albeit Simone initially rejected. Stafford continued to believe God, and was steadfast in his patience. 

Simone had recently changed her prayers "for a husband," and instead began praying "to become a Proverbs 31 wife." Stafford, a genuine friend, great father and role model maintained his pursuit and eventually Simone agreed. Not soon afterwards, the Lord confirmed to her "...and this is your husband." They have been inseparable ever since!

On Tuesday, November 11, 2014 they will stand before God, family and friends, on the revelation that was confirmed 4 years earlier.

Stafford Nicholas, Jr. was born on July 18, 1974 and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. An avid chess player and loyal friend to those who know him, "Six-Four" is known as the thinker, and the go-to person for advice.

Six-Four's talent for analyzing and evaluating events, amazing calm during stressful situations and personable relationships with teens leads him as a highly popular agent with the NYPD School Safety division.

Stafford was blessed with three children from a previous marriage - Staffon, Stafford III ("Nu-Nu") and Ceniya.

A great friend, father, protector, provider, child advocate and love for God are only some of the qualities that Simone finds irresistable.

Simone A. McIntosh was born on March 12, 1971 and raised in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. "Monie Pony" and "Simi" are the childhood names to which she was referred. An advocate for children, women, Black Culture and her family, Simone has always led a life of service. 

She currently works as an Administrator for the NYC Department of Education and will soon complete her Doctorate in Education. Along with a very demanding professional life, Simone is also an active member of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. - Long Island County Section and the Junior League of Brooklyn. 

Simone was blessed with one child from a previous relationship - Christopher Houston. When not serving, you can find her as a proud "basketball mom" to the four children. A loyal, passionate woman, who is a dedicated mother with zeal for life and Christ, are only some of the qualities that Stafford finds irresistable.

Our ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue - Jericho Terrace ~ 249 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, NY.
