On August 18, 2012, happiness and joy filled the air when Kim said YES!

The proposal was the most profound and intimate experience of our lives.  It was a beautiful, calm, late summer's evening in August.  We walked hand in hand along the beautiful National Harbor Marina, gazing at the magnificent Potomac River. Our plans were to have a special dinner (a surprising fireworks show added to our memorable occasion). We then returned home for the perfect execution of the proposal. 

After more than three years of dating, the decision was made...we're ready to take that leap of faith, to become one.
